Project Title: „AGGRESSION! NO, THANKS! “

 

Preventing aggression in Educational Environments" "Whole school approach" -creating a safe and secure environment for all students Five teachers will participate in the project activities. The teachers involved have experience in preventing of aggression. Teachers will share their views on the programs, strategies and mechanisms that operate for early prevention of aggressive behaviour in Bulgaria. Objectives of the activity:

1. Establishing procedures, mechanisms and good practices to prevent aggressive behaviour. 2. A toolkit to identify students at risk.

2. Strengthen knowledge activities to promote the benefits of early preventions. Inclusion in the curriculum.

3. Partnerships with parents. Cooperation program.

4. Activities and results: An effective communication network to prevent students from aggressive behaviour

5. Understanding and analyzing case studies.

6. Preventive workshop.

7.  Familiarity with the regulations of the participating countries.

Topics are covered in an interactive workshop through presentations, group work, whole group work and summarization. Results: -An increase of teachers’ competences for intervention in cases of difficulties in learning process and reasons for aggressive behaviour. -Integrating good preventive practices in everyday school activities. Teachers use different resources and new ICT tools in students’ prevention from aggression. --The system of support for schools is developed through creating online practicum of good practices, forum, blog, or website which can be useful and used by teachers, students, and parents after the project ends.

First day

 - Welcoming according to Bulgarian custom.

- Planning of the project partnership activities

 - Presentation of the project and setting the first task. Presentation of the participiants. Each country prepares a presentation for the participants and the school.

- Establish procedures, mechanisms and good practices for the prevention of aggressive behavior (Presentation)

- Sharing good practices from the project partners

 

Second day

- Conditions and policies against early prevention. Root causes and measures. Developing measures in teams (Presentation)

- Kindergarten rules

- Technical details for the implementation of the work plan in the future

- Guidelines for working with parents when they are not cooperating:

- Daily evaluation

 

Third day

- Indicators to monitor individual risk. Presentation.

- Specifics of child aggression in childhood - research

- Presentation - Games for aggressive children

- Sharing good practices from the project partners

- Daily evaluation.

 

Fourth day

-  Review shared practices against early manifestation of aggression - Interaction with stakeholders;

- The role of strategic planning

- Early warning system; Presentations. Analysis.

- Working in small groups

- Stress control.

- Daily evaluation

 

 

Fifth day

- Refusing to communicate with other children? - Measures we can take

- Developing joint prevention measures.  

- The role of the school psychologist in preventing aggression. Case studies and presentation of good practice.

- Award certificates.

- Final evaluation
